Dan Hong will be the fifth chef to appear in the series.
Hong is the executive chef of Mr. Wong, the renowned Sydney CBD venue celebrated for its innovative take on Cantonese-style cuisine. Hong cut his teeth in his family’s Vietnamese restaurant chain, Thanh Binh, before going on to hone his culinary skills in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Australia, including Longrain, Tetsuya’s and Bentley, being awarded the Josephine Pignolet Best Young Chef Award at The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Awards in 2008, before taking over the kitchen at Mr. Wong.
His event at arkhé promises to bring his larger than life take on Cantonese-style food to arkhé for an event not to be missed
$300 per person, inclusive of five-course menu with a Laphroaig cocktail on arrival and wine pairings.
