Will Goldfarb will host an evening of sweet indulgence at arkhé on 21 November.
Named World’s Best Pastry Chef in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021 and known for his avant-garde desserts at Room4Dessert in Bali. Formerly of globally renowned El Bulli and Tetsuya’s, Goldfarb originally launched the concept for his Room4Dessert in NYC, before reinventing the concept in Bali as a place to celebrate the powerful connection between people, nature and the community. Ten years on, Room4Dessert is more than an innovative restaurant, dessert and cocktail bar, it is a food forest ecosystem that spans the better part of a block in Ubud, with a focus on regeneration shared through the medium of food. Room4Dessert places an emphasis on medicinal herbs over white sugar and salt, and consistently champions local produce as a way to support the surrounding community. Goldfarb also founded the R4D Academy as a way to educate and share the vision of restoring community through food.
Goldfarb’s event will showcase his love of sustainable, medicinal and produce driven food at arkhé.
$450 per person, inclusive of an eight-course menu with a Laphroaig cocktail on arrival and wine pairings.
